2010.3.6

I have been waiting for this film since last year, but I finally got it last month, but I didn't watch it until yesterday.

Despite the fact that the plot is pragmatic, I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars because of its three unforgettable highlights: De Niro's acting, the beautiful scenery of the wires running under the sky during the trip, and the moving music.

Under the background of these, a father's loneliness, care, puzzlement and tolerance are silently and deeply passed on to us.

At this point, it has nothing to do with the plot or the loopholes in the plot, but the resonance of being a child.

There are thousands of gestures of parental love, but the heart with love is the same. So we all feel the same way, no matter how the father in the film loves his children.

In terms of plot, this is not a sensational film. And because from the father's point of view, the expression of emotions is more restrained and reserved.

But I still burst into tears as I watched De Niro go out with a suitcase while repeatedly reminding himself to bring something.

The emotion didn't stop throughout the movie, so much so that after the movie ended, I sat on the couch and cried aloud.

De Niro's eyes, De Niro's back, De Niro's satisfied smile when he talks about children, De Niro's relieved look when he looks at the wires...

They are intertwined in my mind, like the shadow of life, reflecting those familiar memories.

No matter how many estrangements or misunderstandings there are, no matter how many time and space distances there are, family love is unchanged, selfless and eternal.

The sadness of the children is: they didn't understand when they were young, and they spent the best time in estrangement and alienation. After I understand it, I feel that there is still time, so I put my energy into material possession. But when you really have time and material, the person you want to repay is gone, and you finally understand that what your parents want is not your material, but your time and your happiness.

Everybody is fine. It is the most simple wish of parents.
