--"are you happy...in your life?" --"wow, big question"

happy-go-lucky, a comedy making my tears drop down and smile in blosom.

is poppy a simple-minded person? no, i don't think so. she's sensible and she'd like to choose such an active attitude to her own life and to the people all around. she's ready to cheer everyone up, never ever tempted to do so.. but..spontaneously.

she is so ready to be interested and always so happy, sanguine and light hearted. those who are always unsatisfied and angry, like Scott and poppy's sister, may find it annoy to put up with poppy's trivial jests. what an unhealthy mental state it is behind those no-reason furies? so, to poise oneself in a place one deserves. life can always make itself plausible, and man could live happily only in his own sense of being.

" 'the road to reality'.. don't wanna be going there.(giggles)" ; --"are you happy...in your life?" --"wow, big question" --"isn't it just?" then they went on their life. life has nothing to do with happiness. sometimes we ponder it over but most of time we are just living through it. yep, happy go lucky. just like these days, my enjoyable summer vacation .---------- kylinyyc JUL22, 2009 19:58:08

A very enviable state of life, leisurely but full, the director is very good at catching the audience’s attention, the English pronunciation is very pleasant, enrahah~enrahah~~, it's lovely~

Mike Leigh turned his attention to such an optimistic and naive woman this time, which seemed completely different from the eyes that saw the evil in society before. But it's still a good work, sally hawkins is amazing~

Happy-Go-Lucky quotes

  • Scott: Right, you see three mirrors: your two side-view mirrors and your rear-view mirror. They make a Golden Triangle.

Poppy: Is that like the pubic triangle?

Scott: It's a pyramid, and at the top of the pyramid, you see the all-seeing eye, Enraha. Can you repeat that, please? En-ra-ha.

Poppy: Are you talking about the eye of Lucifer?

    Scott: No!

Poppy: [laughing] 'Cause I don't know if I want to look in there, thank you very much.

Scott: It's not Lucifer. There are two fallen angels before Lucifer. There is Enraha, Raziel and Lucifer.

Poppy: Sorry, I don't have them in my phone book.

  • Scott: The teacher's job is to bring out good habits in the pupil and to get rid of bad habits. He does that through frequent repetitive thinking. And he does that by creating clear and distinct images that are easy for the pupil to retain.

    Poppy: Oh, does he, now?

    Scott: Yes.

Poppy: [pointing to forehead] Don't worry, it's burnt in there, it's burnt in there.

Scott: You see, you'll remember. You will remember Enraha till the day you die, and I will have done my job.

Poppy: Why don't you have something nice up there, like a giant strawberry or something?
