some feelings

In Black Lens - The Blood of the World, war has created a horrific need for pictures.
In "Blood Diamond," Maddie is writing about the refugee camp, and confronts Archer's deliberate sarcasm, saying, "Do you think I'm exploiting his grief? You're right, it's, like those babies' Like the mugshots, those black babies with big bellies and flies in their eyes. So here I have a dead mother, a broken limb, but nothing new, and that (Maddy's sensational writing) is enough for some people Tears after reading it, and even writing a check, but it's not enough to stop it all. I'm tired of writing about these victims, but that's all I fucking can do."
War correspondents are in such a deformed position, they're war Victims, these people take bullets to take stunning pictures, and then the audience says, why are you there, why are you filming other people's pain, just like the reporters in the film keep asking Kevin. In the public eye, war photographers appear to be changing the world around them through their daring adventures, when in fact they don't change anything other than taking pictures, they just "take" some images. A long time ago, I don’t know where I have seen discussions about battlefield images. There is a saying I agree with very much: war photographers have made efforts to show the public a more intuitive battlefield scene, so that the war is not the number of casualties in the news. statistics, but an unforgettable feeling. These photos make people reflect, look inside, and produce effects that are difficult to observe concretely.
But I don't like the hippie style of bang bang club, which is most obvious from Kevin. Although I know that anyone can be realistic in the face of death, I think a serious work attitude and careful thinking are necessary. The work of these photographers is very lively, and these occasions don't give you time to think. I appreciate their work, but I don't like the way of working.
I've seen this documentary about war photographers before, and James Natchaway was there when Ken and Greg were shot, and recorded the real situation at the time. I didn't know who the two photographers were at the time, I just mentioned that one of them died, and I sighed how close the work was to death. This episode is restored in the movie, which is very realistic and basically consistent with the documentary.
One of the things that excites me most about this movie is that it restores the shooting environment and scenes of some classic photos, and the black and white images that I have in mind are more clear.
I took a look at the war photographers just now, and I found that the members of the bang bang club prefer the photos of the scene, that is, the images of the event, while James prefers the images after the event. These two preferences, I actually prefer the latter because they are thinking.
