It's like watching Sleepless in Seattle.
The heroine accidentally discovers the existence of the hero and is deeply moved by his love for his deceased wife. She went looking for him and fell in love with him. The difference is the ending, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan finally came together, and here, before the hero decided to find the heroine who left, in order to bid farewell to the past, he died in the sea, leaving the heroine with eternal regret.

I am sorry that I didn't take better care of you so you never spent a minute being cold, or scared or sick.
Whoever longs for such a love. But, love, most of the time, is selfish, the only one.
