When I watched a third of the whole film, I felt it was too bland and boring, and finally I persevered with patience, but after watching the whole film, people felt another form of violence invisibly - that It's emotional violence. The love between Heathcliff and Catherine masquerades as another form of violence, tormenting each other deeply because of their mutual dependence. Since then, a series of acts of emotional violence have been triggered: taking Isabella as his wife and taking possession of Hindley's property... There is a small detail at the end of the film - Hindley's son tied one of his necks The dog on the rope hangs on the tree, without hesitation of the puppy's painful struggle, this behavior shocked me, how much violence is lurking in our consciousness? I dare not and do not want to imagine how much this kind of violence can be inspired.
