The Whistleblower, October 7

I feel more and more sad when I see the second half of the movie. When rights naturally reach the mutual node of interests, they acquiesce to some evil alliances. What is even more tarnished is that they are still wearing uniforms in the name of justice. The key is everyone. I know it's a mistake, but in order to protect myself, I insist on squeezing out real justice. I don't know why. When I saw the women who were abducted and trafficked to testify and persuade them, Raya looked at the uniformed guests who patronized them behind her. I was angry but scared. The fate of running away was to die at gunpoint. I finally realized that fear is the best way to anesthetize a person. I also don’t know why. The so-called Eight-Power Allied Forces can run amok in front of our great power, but when all the mainstream media introduce them again today, they are condemning, or saying that the Qing government is incompetent. Why not get to the bottom of the problem? Why did the Chinese people stop the burning of the Yuanmingyuan because they were not patriotic? This may be due to Raya's fear, distrust of the yamen, and fear of foreign powers. If I say again, after the fire, it was the surrounding residents who were razed to the ground, how would they feel? Numb education is that people lose the ability to think independently, become the same people of Song and Ming, and then give Yuan and Qing the crown of ethnic minorities to comfort their hearts, hehe. Alas, that's a bit off topic.

All kinds of famous actors, but I don't like this type of movies, not to mention the subtitles are so pitiful. . . abandoned.

3.5 It is suitable for those who like to say "how you are, your China is", and ask them if they can get the conclusion of "whatever you are, what your world is like". By the way, the disrespect of humans towards women is far more serious than the discrimination against gays...

The Whistleblower quotes

  • [first lines]

Raya: [in Ukrainian] I have to get home. Mama's gonna kill me.

Luba: No. You are staying with me tonight. Roman wants us there at nine in the morning. Raya, we've been over this. It's just a few months working in a hotel.

    Raya: Yes, but...

Luba: You want to work at a Copyshack like your mother? He said it was both of us or nothing!

    Raya: ...No.

    [walks away]

  • Blakely: During your training you will see that peace is harder won than war. That every mornings hope is haunted by yesterday's nightmare.
