But from the point of view of simply appreciating the movie, to be honest, it's okay. The 91-minute film takes almost 50 minutes to narrate the boring campus life of the students, and the remaining 20 minutes to the climax, (there are 5-6 minutes of production staff list and tidbits at the end). And the climax is basically the escape mostly, the blasting is mostly, and there are few paragraphs of head-to-head confrontation. According to the practice of commercial films and war films, there should be at least two very intense and tragic shopping scenes, the beginning and the end, so as to keep the audience's enthusiasm.
The Master Chief is so tangible and powerful, but several fights with aliens are only briefly touched, and even only listening to the explosions and no effect of the fighting is not enough to show at all, just heard a few explosions and the final plug. This short paragraph of bombs is totally insufficient, which is undoubtedly a little disappointing. Of course production cost is a big issue.
Looking at the theme and selling points of the whole play, it is still very attractive. If there is a better screenwriter and a little more production funds, I believe it will be better.
