A rare hard sci-fi masterpiece, the technical level is absolutely rigorous, it is desirable and not so far away. The skillful and alternative narrative and shots make up for the lack of production due to the small cost. It feels like a sacrifice in terms of imagination, and the octopus-shaped creature at the end feels a little awkward or unsatisfactory. But if you think about it carefully, if it is an open-ended ending or a specific description for us, it is not appropriate. It is precisely this strange thing that is less like a carbon-based creature, more close to a machine, and has radiation. It seems to be telling us that It's completely beyond our scientific cognition and we really don't understand it at all. Let's actually build a spaceship and see where it is, that's great!
