It's a man's play about a principled killer, a tough guy. During a robbery at an amusement park, he was betrayed by his companions and nearly died.

The protagonist survives the dead is the old and unchanging tone of American blockbusters. Resting, lurking, coming back quietly, vowing to kill those bastards who betrayed him one by one.

The plot is old-fashioned, and the male lead is also very stereotyped, nothing new.

But what caught my eye was the heroine, Jennifer Lopez. She plays a small commoner on the Palm Beach resort island of Miami, doing real estate sales, in her 30s, divorced, and living with her mother who is also single and divorced, and her life is very unsatisfactory.

In this dull and dull life, Parker suddenly appeared. As a wealthy potential home buyer. The heroine has a wonderful affection for this mysterious, cold and tough strange man, as if somewhere, this is the one who can change her life.

She offered to help Parker because he was unfamiliar with the terrain of Palm Beach and really needed a local to help him. The heroine came to Parker's hotel, bought a drunk, and half seduced, saying that she was a failure, hated her current job, hated to make a smile on those rich family's sons and daughters, and had to be eaten tofu. There is a troubled mother involved. She is desperate. She needs money, and she wants to help him, just for a little commission.

How arrogant and cautious Parker is, he won't trust a stranger easily. But it may be the heroine's affectionate confession, or it may be the heroine's beautiful figure and appearance that made him accept the heroine's request.

Parker's former best friend and later revenge object came to this small island to steal valuable jewelry. Parker's plan was: the mantis catches the cicada, and the oriole is behind. Parker ended up killing everyone who betrayed him and taking their jewelry.

After a fierce fight, Parker limped a leg and took several stabs on his body, but miraculously he still didn't hang up. He was covered in blood and said to the hostess in a corner: You secretly hide these jewels somewhere near the company, don't tell anyone, I will send someone to fetch them in three months. I'm going to hide for a while. When this matter disappears, the part of the jewelry you get will be sent to you in the form of express delivery. Remember, this money can't be put in the bank, and you can't go on a shopping spree.

The hostess asked: How much can I get?

Parker: Probably a few million. The hostess hugged him excitedly.

At the last parting moment, Parker said, "Someone will come to pick me up." The hostess asked disappointedly, "Is it Clayton? (The hostess knows that this is his girlfriend)", and then asked: "I have never been Will there be a chance?" The

male protagonist said nothing.

After the female protagonist left, the male protagonist's eyes were lonely, and there was a trace of desolation and sadness in his always indifferent eyes.

The story would be dull if it were only about a killer tough guy taking revenge. However, because of the heroine's role, it really adds a lot to the whole film.

Many men and women whose lives are unsatisfactory are looking forward to a sudden change in their boring life one day. For example, a savior suddenly appears, bringing us adventure, excitement, and the opportunity to make a fortune. After some near-misses and twists and turns, the money finally arrived smoothly.

This kind of pie-in-the-sky plot may really only be found in movies and novels, but it can easily resonate with us little people who run around all day and seek life.

That's probably why I kind of like the movie, the heroine.

There are obvious loopholes out of the water; except for Jason, it's all palm and face!

Can only be called crap! It was more than half an hour from the beginning, and it basically didn't make people lift their spirits! Until I fall asleep!

Parker quotes

  • Parker: [torturing man with a bar stool] If you don't tell me what I need to know, I'm gonna press down on this chair until it crushes your trachea. Trust me, it's agonizing. Plus, there's the posthumous humiliation of having been killed with a chair.

  • Jake Fernandez: [after Leslie buys a large cup of coffee] Hey, you have a cupholder in your car, or you just keep that between your legs?

Leslie Rodgers: Well, it's large and black, Jake. Where do you think I like it?
