Subvert the image of childhood

When I saw this play by Shakespeare as a child, I hated Shylock very much. At that time, he subverted my first understanding of the goodness of human nature, and set him up as a villain in my heart. And after seeing this movie, Shylock is no longer a villain in my heart.
At the beginning of the film, it was introduced that Jews were oppressed by the society at that time and had to stay in a walled area similar to a slum. If they wanted to go out of the city during the day, they had to wear a red hat to show their identity as Jews. Christians slapped, Shylock was slapped by Antonio, these life experiences are replaced by any normal person with flesh and blood, can't bear this kind of insult, so I understand that Shylock has to pay for his hatred with a pound of flesh!
W.William Shakespeare's definition of this play as a comedy is a tragedy in my mind, and it does celebrate friendship, benevolence and love from a certain angle, but what about the unequal suffering of the Jews? Was it just ignored? Shylock in the film is not entirely a mercenary and ruthless loan shark image. In fact, he has flesh and blood. In the film, he shouts for the inequality of Jews and the oppression of slaves. He shouts for humanity to the vested interests of aristocratic capitalism! He asked for that pound of meat to beg the law to be treated equally! He is a messenger calling for fairness, but the way is too cruel! His way is to show his heart of revenge and humiliation, and to pray for the heart of humanity!

First of all, it is said that Portia is not beautiful. The screenwriter unreservedly inherited Shakespeare's ability to read and write, and the psychological description is the same as the lyrics. What's more unexpected is that the film is full of love. . . . . . what the hell

Turning one hundred and eighty degrees to blacken Christians into dogs, robbing and killing people without seeing blood, young winners are the best soft-food men who rely on their boyfriends before marriage and their wives after marriage. Al is too pitiful, and Uncle JI is also very pitiful. Dedicated to the scum man so it deserves it.

The Merchant of Venice quotes

  • Prince of Morocco: [reading] "All that glistens is not gold. Often have you heard that told."

  • Jessica: I'm glad 'tis night. You do not look on me for I am much ashamed of my disguise. But love is blind and lovers cannot see the pretty follies that themselves commit. For if they could, Cupid himself would blush to see me thus transformed into a boy.
