Before watching the movie, I was attracted by the posters that passed by again and again in the subway. YSL's slender body and delicate face made people want to know more about this great French designer.
The film tells that YSL became Dior's youngest chief costume designer after Dior's death. His solo debut was a blockbuster, and he also met Pierre through this show and became a lover. In 1962, he founded YSL, a luxury brand that dominates the fashion industry.
Pierre in the film is like the big parent of YSL, who rescued him from the hospital when he had a nervous breakdown, raised money, helped YSL run the brand, deal with the media, manage the clothing launch, in the name of Yves Send the car to Yves' parents to make his life more regular, including detoxification...everything.
