Different people see different stories

I was bored to pass the time, but I didn't expect to resonate with this seemingly cliché movie. Uma's performance is very touching and sums up the following points:
1. After experiencing emotional setbacks, older women still have a first love-like desire for love. After a brief hesitation (that David's age was shrinking from the first date), he was still fully engaged, and both of them had a spark of passion in their eyes. This adds a lot to the movie. (In reality, the age gap between the actors is only 8 years, which seems to be quite a good match, and the director's choice is correct.) Raffi has said it many times, and I haven't been so happy for a long time. That's right, as a person grows older, he considers more and more things, and it becomes more and more difficult to obtain pure happiness. This is one of the reasons why first love is irreplaceable. Raffi draws desire and youth from David, and even her looks are getting younger and younger. (From the gray wide-leg pants at the beginning to the navel dress??? High school girl's dress)
2. David's youth, childishness and innocence are the reasons for attracting Raffi, but it also brings disharmony in life at the same time . Lying about bringing a best friend home, or even hiding someone in a closet, David's handling of it is so childish that it borders on absurdity, and at the same time violates the bottom line of an older independent woman. There are two parts of fantasy and reality in a woman's psyche. David completely satisfied R's fantasy, but failed miserably in the reality part. R has been swinging between fantasy and reality, but the fantasy part also shattered after David "derailed", so the breakup became an unalterable ending.
3. David wanted to give R a child, she appreciated it, but said that he couldn't do this to him, it was unfair to him. But does she really care about him at all? Maybe she was more afraid. When the passion fades away and the fantasy is gone, all David left her in reality is pain and shame. 20 years later, David is in his prime, but R has become an old woman.
Love is the kind of thing that seems inseparable when you are in it, and so irrelevant when you are out of it.
