What is this movie trying to do?

As a Cooper fan, I couldn't even watch this movie.
It made me feel like a story specially set up by the director in order to show the wildness of the eldest cousin's acting skills.
Pointless shots, pointless procrastination, pointless boat scenes.
Forget about this movie, it's drunk to get the couple's acting without any spark.

I only remember one scene. The eldest cousin was finally pushed to the ground by Cooper, and everyone was watching. She stood up with a tearful smile and waved at Cooper's resolute departure. Her expression showed the despair and self-esteem that she could not let go.

Give 4 stars but give 5 stars a plus for such a low rating! I like it very much. The texture of desolation and desolation is similar to the story of gone girl. The ultimate possessiveness is also a kind of love, but the most fearful thing is that the other party is not equal to you, and the meaning of oath is different for everyone, and it is easy to destroy people, especially women, if you finally offer your sincerity and be betrayed.

Too weak and too fake, a few passionate scenes died

Serena quotes

  • Serena: I think you've taken none months to do about six months' work. But a few changes should greatly increase profitability.

Buchanan: What did you find, wife or a partner?

    Pemberton: Both.

  • Sheriff McDowell: The logging barons always cry "jobs" and "free enterprise," but the truth is, you barely pay enough to put food on the table!

Pemberton: Oh, we pay more than any job these men can get, and that's why there's a line fifty-deep every time there's an opening.

Sheriff McDowell: Openings? Yes, you always have openings, don't you, Mr. Pemberton? Because your camps have killed more men than the war between the States.
