This is a movie about how to cherish life. It makes people feel that family, friendship and love are precious from beginning to end.

If a person is in a coma, the other person can still see all around me, that would be a self-awakening observation. In "If I Stay" (2014) directed by R.G. Cutler, the innocent and pleasant Mia suffered a car accident while traveling with her family. Her parents and her younger brother Teddy died one after another. I have been rescued.

The movie made another Mia that no one can touch, and stopped in sadness like a resurrection. She quietly watched herself lying on the bed on a ventilator to maintain her breath. She also saw the murmur of the medical staff, as well as her boyfriend Adam and female classmates. The eager anticipation of Jin, his grandparents and all his relatives. Their grief and encouragement made her finally determined to survive without hesitation. At last she opened her beautiful eyes and the movie came to an end.

Through Mia flashing back to the warm life with her family, we can see the preciousness of family affection, and through the love with boyfriend Adam, we can see the power of love, all kinds of moving aftertastes that can’t come back, all make the film full of a kind of quiet and beautiful strength. Mia was born with a passion for the cello since she was a child, and loves top international masters like Yo-Yo Ma. In order to take care of her, her father who loves music quit her job in the band, and her optimistic mother always cheered for her. The family can be said to be happy. Unexpectedly, God's will make people, when their family went to see their grandparents happily, an accident happened.

And Mia has just been interviewed by the Julia Conservatory. Before, Adam applied for her to the Julia Conservatory and was sulking. Because Adam has developed well in all aspects of the band organized by Portland, he wrote a lot of love songs for Mia. Since Mia's accident, Adam has been remorseful, and everything is not important anymore. When Adam got the notice that Mia was admitted to the Conservatory of Music, Mia on one side also said that it was not important, the important thing was that we could be together. She is determined to survive for all those who love her.

Although it is a movie that keeps flashing back, it doesn't feel messy. It is closely related to the theme and very structured. The pictures and music are well integrated, and the rhythm is extremely strong. As a bystander, seeking the truth may be twisted, but it is extremely secluded and eye-catching. In fact, there are many movies of this kind that use one's own "resurrection" to see yourself and the people and things around you. It's just that this excitement related to youth is filled with infinite vitality while regretting. Bright and beautiful youth is always enviable. Cherish life and praise life is not just an empty slogan.

It's ok for Moretz to take the lead and add a star to the dog's blood and tear-jerking music

A tender film is so miserable.. 80% of the male and female protagonists are tired, and the male protagonist is finally comparable to the high priest, so how did Kolo Moretz change from a skinny little beauty to the current one? ? ?

If I Stay quotes

  • Kat: Babe, are you sure it's a bee?

Adam: Oh, yeah. We gotta get this stinger out.

Mia Hall: No, we're not doing that!

Adam: Trust me, this is the only thing I learned in Boy Scouts.

    [gently sucks on her hand]

    Adam: Got it.

    [family applause]

    Kat: Wow.

    Willow: Way hotter than tweezers.

Henry: Stand down, woman, you're already knocked up.

Adam: You know, you should get stung more often. I'm sorry to sat that's the furthest we've gotten since our first date.

  • Mia Hall: There are two types of people in the world, Kim. Those who like real coffee, and those who like froufrou drinks with ridiculous names.

Kim: Um, wow. You know, I'm not ashamed to be a cinnamon-spice chai latte lover. Thank you very much.

Mia Hall: Yeah, well, it kind of smells like Christmas threw up in your mug.

    Kim: Fine by me.
