I don't know why the cat catches the mouse

The whole process is confusing, and the story is super simple. The Mexican smugglers walked into the desert covered with cacti and were chased and killed by a U.S. Marine Corps-style bull who came to hunt. In the end, one of the Mexicans was smart and brave, and beat the ultimate American boss. He broke his leg, and then saved his companions, and crossed the line of fire to the free country together.
You say it's a shootout film, but there's really only one shotgun in the whole process. Most people were killed in the first 15 minutes. You said it was a documentary on refugee life, but the plot was too bizarre.
What I don't like the most is that I guess if the cat catches the mouse, it must be stealing the chicken and not losing the rice. It's too slow. Moreover, why does this sturdy American want to kill all the smugglers for no reason? I have never understood it. Without professional film reviewers, I feel instantly plunged into aesthetic confusion. If scaring me is one of the success criteria? Then I lose. But scary is scary, what about the rest?
