The heroine has a big close-up of the whole process. As the film critic said, we can clearly see her every wrinkle and every pore. We can feel her desperation and helplessness with all our attention, through her unceasing tears and pursed lips.
Limited to the age and technology, it seems that the film is rough and the plot is simple, but it tells a story more powerfully.
After all, it's a silent film, so I just finished watching it on the barrage. It's truly a man who holds up a movie.
