Nobody is an island

No Man Is An Island
No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; no man is an island , alone in the sea; everyone is like a little piece of earth, connected to form the whole land. if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: In one corner, this is like a headland, and like a manor, whether it's yours or your friend's. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore, never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

Whoever dies
is a part of me dying
because I am included in the concept of being human.
So
don't ask for whom the death knell is tolling, the
death knell is tolling for you.

This story is a heartwarming psychological healing story.
Ove's experience of losing his father was a big trauma, and being demolished and burning down his house also made him hate government workers in white shirts.
Until he met his wife, love brightened his life. The wife is an important force connecting him with the outside world.
After his wife died, he attempted suicide. Then various coincidences made him feel his connection to the outside world.
A new life begins.
This aspect is also very important in psychotherapy. Especially in modern and postmodern treatments.
I remember being called reincorporation in narrative therapy.
This connection to the outside world is very important to the individual.
