"Leviathan" is a movie I have never wanted to see. I finally watched it, it was really shocking, but it was indeed very realistic, very realistic Russia, a hopeless and utterly hopeless existence that turned black and white, an existence that can only survive under alcohol anesthesia. An awesome movie, and a painful one to watch. I think the Russians will be more intimate when they see it. I have lived in Russia for a long time. I also see everything so familiar. All the tragedies seem to come from the unexplained nationality, the boundless natural geography and ecology beyond your imagination. , Absolutely God but clearly distorted Orthodox reality exists. Humanity is meaningless here; living here is a torment, without hope. Death may be the release. Love seems to be the last flame of life here, who may be saved, or who may be completely destroyed. Awesome! Although the story is not novel, it is better than the proper use of the language of the film, and the details and blanks worthy of aftertaste.
