not from hell but in hell

The country that the movie from hell tells is a hell in itself. . These poor people are homeless, threatened, discriminated against and even killed everywhere. .

No one will pity them, even the bar's shop assistant can beat and scold them at will. "No one is born a prostitute". To survive in hell can only choose what they hate most. .

Not only contempt and even persecution by the upper classes, but even the lowest social class like them can abuse, beat and scold at will.

"Jack the Ripper" is an unsolved historical case. Although modern DNA has proved who may be the murderer, it cannot explain why a barber has a deep knowledge of human anatomy.

This film is not about who is the murderer, but more about how ugly the British society at that time was - "I think it should be foreigners, such as Indians or...Jews".

Alan Moore's version is inevitably a bit conspiratorial and religious. This murderer setting is too educational after all. I want to see the original comics. / And I can't always convince myself that it's London in 1888. Because I know it was Prague in 2001, and the red-haired sweetheart sang every night with Mr. Knight on the other side. This is the woman he loved at that time. The woman was thinking about him. I think.

The rhythm is not tight enough, although the subject matter is good. Many plots serve for unknown reasons, such as the emotional drama of the hero and heroine, and the freak like a human being. There are still many plots that have not been dig deep, such as the problem of Freemasonry. The result of the case was a grand government conspiracy. A bit disappointed.
