At the technical level, I don't think there is anything remarkable. The most worth mentioning should be this kind of group portrait method, and the hymn of the church at the end. Especially impressed is the young man who sang, the gap between dream and reality is really an eternal theme. Another detail is that the two police officers said a seemingly positive statement when they first drove, similar to helping them change the situation, which is really ironic in comparison. The whole film is flawless, the most touching thing should be this theme, this script.

There are not too many people to shape, but the image of the police at that time is engraved into the event itself. In the face of authority and power, people are really insignificant and vulnerable. They have no power to fight back and can only be at the mercy of them. I was shocked.

Catherine Bigelow is really disappointing! She lost all of her Oscar-winning features, and the whole movie didn't show her vigorous and vigorous style. With such a powerful story and background as the 50th anniversary of the Detroit Incident, she turned into a hurried thriller, completely losing the meaning of this movie.
