Veteran out of the code [from Li Zongheng film review]

It's kind of casual, which is good, but it's a bit of a bluff low in the old man's movie universe. How much reminds me of his "The Seventh Continent". He still continues his seemingly calm undercurrent, but compared with "Hidden Camera" and "Love", it seems deliberate and trivial, artificial and repetitive, not stretched, and a little stingy. In keeping up with the latest social media, the observer's (especially for Hanneke's) uniquely razor-sharp perspective has been lost. Too hesitant to deal with the two tendencies of "movie" and "contemporary art". Purity is the key value for any kind of art, including the money-making flicks like "Detective Chinatown 2".

The story is too loose, the visual experience is also not very pleasant, or Huppert in Elle is more beautiful

iPhone shooting is quite up to date. Not the best Haneke, but still enough to beat most directors in the world. Cold because of insight, Haneke's disappointment with middle-class Western families is deeper than the sea. The last picture brought people back to "love" again, but unfortunately Grandma Riva is no longer there...
