Recently, I have made up for several of Jodorowsky's films, and finally I have a little confidence to watch this documentary. I didn't read the original "Dune" after reading a few pages. After reading Jordu's passionate explanation, my interest in it increased a lot. I was probably brainwashed by Jodu's previous computers. When watching the storyboards and plot speeches in the film, I couldn't help but bring in some magical fantasies. When I saw the character whose arms and legs were removed, I felt as if I really saw that picture and heard the miserable and short howls, blood would flow in the colorful palace, and the limbs were strong and pale and were carefully placed in the box. I believe that Jordu has the ability to make that advanced movie, just like his team admired it at the beginning, but unfortunately the genius thinks ahead of time, and his actions burn money. Hollywood has already been scared by this crazy man who is beyond the times, so he left a copy. A heavy book of regrets.
The film was told by Jordu about how the shocking film was prepared back then, searching for suitable team members all over the world, and these people seemed to be matched with him as if they were dug out of his mind. The idea of that film was said to have influenced many later films. However, no matter how unwilling it is, it is ultimately helpless. As for saying that all movies are "Dune", it can only be a placebo. Even Jordu has suffered such a big loss, not to mention the new generation of filmmakers.
For audiences and producers, movies are art, life, the driving force that supports human skin to seek faith, the passage from ignorance to wisdom, the energy to break free consciousness, and the springboard for ideological leaps. For businessmen, there is only one difference between making money and not making money. It doesn't matter right or wrong, time or fate.
