Undefinable love, but love.

10 stars for personal hobbies, 3.5 stars for seriousness.

I strongly like both the text and the soundtrack, beautiful enough. The lines are all very literary, and they are in line with the character of the male protagonist as a novelist.

On the surface, the weakness is in the characters. The male and female protagonists basically have no sense of CP, and the female protagonist does not show any emotions. All the emotional gravity is placed on the letter left to the male protagonist when they parted, and that paragraph was not performed by the actors. Or the textual power of the play. (really awesome...

Also, the relaxed atmosphere in the first half and the light-hearted attitude of each character make it easy for the audience to wait for the direction of this open marriage (relationship) with an outsider and curious mind. At this time, the film does not have more ink to focus on the deep emotions and connections of the hero and heroine. Therefore, it is difficult for the audience to quickly empathize with the separation and loss of the two when the plot takes a sharp turn, and appreciate this heavy emotion.

But all of the above weaknesses should be accounted for in the director's technique. The perspective of this movie is not fair. It is not the third-person perspective that the audience recognized in the first half, but more of the male protagonist's first-person perspective. The director arranged two shots to use the first-person picture directly as the eyes of the male protagonist. There are also two male protagonists who questioned whether the female protagonist had the same warm and deep feelings for him: at the time of the marriage proposal, and after a long separation. He wasn't sure about that. Finally, there is the use of the monologue of the male protagonist throughout, but this is too little, very insufficient.

As a result, the heroine in his eyes is dexterous, calm, intelligent, and easy-going. perfect. But the first time viewers watch the film, they will only feel that the heroine's role is weak and her feelings cannot be maintained, so it is difficult to substitute it.

If the audience needs to realize this kind of critical emotion and thinking, it will be a failure.

But other than that... love the tone of the whole movie. Very New York. Cool tones with some vaguely tender shots, and a bench in Central Park is relied on in the forbidding crevices of high-rise buildings. Time and love opposites end up getting mixed up. I've been crying since that scene of Brian's first novel was published in the magazine... that dream career just started, but it feels like it's no one to share and has lost all meaning, and it's all about writing, and beyond The lonely publication of The Mermaid

I probably won't watch this movie again, it's just a song in the rain in the dead of night, neither grand nor classic, delicate and very personal. But now willing to write something to it. After a long time without serious writing, I started from here, but I am familiar with it.

love the greatest.
