The movie I watched after doing some homework for the Dubai trip, but I gained a lot.

A seemingly bland but worthwhile little movie. It looks fragmented, and I plan to find time to brush it quietly.

Civilization has always been the product of the accumulation of time, so it must always face the challenges of new and old, changing and constant. Sometimes it is really difficult for us without faith to imagine how people who were born in the desert and buried in the desert can live their whole lives. Through movies, we can indeed find that money is sometimes not so attractive to people with firm beliefs.

Recalling that Oda's father said to Oda in the film, "The Koran" says that the only time a son can rebel against his father is when his father tells his son not to believe in the Koran.

Understanding and learning are very important. I used to be an Islamophobic person, and I was a little nervous when I went to Xining alone on the road for the first time. But the more you understand it, the more you will find that Islam is not as terrible as we think. Scary is always the small part that exists everywhere. After all, religion is the cultural backbone of the Arab nation.

Although the director to the actors are all non-Arab "outsiders", I personally don't feel that there is too much incongruity. Oda's father is very handsome and man! Princess Layla is beautiful, and she accidentally finds out that she is the heroine of a slumdog millionaire. The horse-riding maid who was rescued by the trooper turned out to be the heroine of the flower of the desert.

  • Emir Nesib: A modest man is a man...

Prince Auda: Who wants to be complimented twice.

  • Emir Nesib: I was going to offer you my sword but then I saw the inscription. "From your friends at Texan Oil."

Prince Auda: Yes, perhaps that does take away some of the grandeur.
