Just finished watching Six Shots Pistol. It won the 78th Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. 27 minutes.
Forgot to turn on the air purifier last night. Woke up this morning with a continuous cough. The smog outside the window was thick, and the residential buildings not far away were faint. I don't know how many people are also coughing.
In this context, it is appropriate to watch a lonely movie. Solitude has reached absolute proportions, and it must be because of compassion and tolerance. When compassion and tolerance fail, loneliness loses its direction. Even if the end is death, it will not help deliverance. This is absolute loneliness.
I think the Oscar judges' approval of the film probably stemmed from this.
