"sinner"

I watched a few non-mainstream movies in the past two days, with less plot, more complaints, ungrounded, and always elegant. So no sense.

After watching the Danish "The Sinner", my dull mood was relieved a little.

It is about the policeman Asger who was deported to the police center to listen to the phone because of the manslaughter of the suspect, waiting for the court to judge. Most of them are boring calls, some people who broke their legs while riding a bicycle and asked the police for assistance, some people who were beaten by prostitutes after visiting prostitutes, and some people who were addicted to drugs and couldn’t find Bei. . etc. Similar to what we have here. If the police working here do not have a good psychological quality, they will be driven crazy by these calls. We are adhering to the principle of "finding the police when it is difficult", and Denmark is the same. As declared in the film, "We are the guardians, we protect those who need help". In fact, it is impossible for all the police to provide assistance in major and minor matters. It all depends on the personal judgment of the police officer who receives the call. After answering countless boring phone calls, Asger receives a coded call from a woman suggesting she's been kidnapped. Asgar, who had been a criminal policeman, immediately became alert, and the story unfolded like this.

When the audience goes to see a movie, it is to see the performance of three aspects, one is the plot of the film, the other is the director's skill, and the third is the acting skills of the actors. The plot in this film should be regarded as a thriller and suspense film, and it really can't be spoiled any more. So I hope that my friends before seeing this look and feel will go to the movies first. As for the last two aspects, it is really remarkable. The director is ingenious, there are no grand scenes and fierce confrontations, all stories are unfolded in one scene, the alarm center. An actor is also a person. Just had a conversation or two with his co-workers and female boss. Background music is also only occasionally present. The eighty-minute story was completely propped up by one person and the dialogue over the phone. This places extremely high demands on the director's scheduling and the actors' acting skills. With the development of the plot, the light produces different changes in light and shade. The bright fluorescent lights in the alarm center, the dimness of the next room, the red police lights, and even the flickering of the LEDs on the earphones worn by Asgar are all closely related to the plot. Appears to be disjointed. The director used more medium shots, close-ups and close-ups to show the characters from the front and the side, while the police officer Asger, played by the famous Danish actor Kedegern, has excellent acting skills, sometimes with slightly open and sometimes tightly closed mouth corners, sometimes The frown that frowned and stretched, the eyes that were sluggish and anxious at times, and the sweat that showed slightly on his forehead, appropriately expressed Asger's mental state of tension, anxiety, worry, thinking, guilt, and hesitation in different seasons. Especially at the end of the film, when Asger learned that Ibn was rescued, he slowly stood up, walked out of the door slowly and stood in front of the window under the admiration of his colleagues. At this time, we can deeply appreciate the sublimation of his soul.

In Arthur Haley's novel "Airport", there is such a description: an airport radar observer goes to the bathroom between work and temporarily hands over the work to an intern. After he went to the bathroom, he didn't go back to work immediately, but lit a cigarette outside the door, thinking about his wife's divorce at home. At this time, a small plane on the radar observation screen was approaching a passenger plane, but the intern did not find it, causing a major collision accident, and the family of four on the small plane was killed. As a result, the intern was fired. By regulation, this radar observer is not responsible. But he himself was troubled by this matter, and repeatedly asked himself why he smoked that cigarette, so much that he finally decided to commit suicide. It was not until he cooperated with the airport to successfully crush a hijacking incident that he was freed. Something similar happened to Asger in this movie. He mistakenly killed the suspect and had discussed with his partner a joint claim in court as self-defense. After receiving Ibn's alarm, he also acted according to a normal person's judgment and past experience, but made mistakes. And this mistake is unknown to outsiders. But he himself bravely admitted to Ibn on the phone: "I was wrong, I was completely wrong."

It is impossible not to make mistakes in one's life. How to deal with mistakes made? different people have different opinions. In the minds of many of our people, the standard of honesty is "Will others know?" It is a mistake when others know it. For example, those corrupt officials who fell from the horse said in unison, "I'm sorry for the party and the people" when they repented. The real reason for the so-called "sorry" is that he has been sacked, found out, and the good days are over. But before others discovered his problems, he still did whatever he wanted, and he still felt sorry for the party and the people. Among the people around us, the more common practice is to make a mistake, but dare not face it or admit it, thinking that you can change it quietly. In fact, in Chinese culture, self-cultivation has been advocated since ancient times. However, for thousands of years, we have drifted farther and farther from these excellent traditions, while the distant countries are practicing our ideas and promoting their civilization progress.

There are very few people like Asger (at least not among us). He tortured his own soul almost harshly. This was not religious feelings in the confessional room, nor was he showing his loyalty to any idol, but was extremely responsible for his own life. "I lied and killed people. I did it because I was fed up with something I wanted to throw away, something bad," he said. Ibn asked him, "Is it a snake?" He replied, "Yes." He felt the "snake" in his heart and used his moral power to drive it away. Asger tried his best to salvage his mistakes while telling his partner not to lie. Even if he will face the condemnation of others, even if he will face the disaster of prison, he must be worthy of his conscience and face the world honestly. he made it.

After watching the movie, I had a hypothesis: what if Ibn hadn't been rescued? I thought: even if Ibn died, do we have the right to blame Asgar? When he was concerned about his own destiny, he made a decisive and correct choice. Shocking and admirable. It also prompts us to think and examine our own lives.

The Danish director is very confident that this one-man show will compete for the Oscar for best foreign language film. In my opinion, it's well worth a try, whether or not you're selected.

My rating: 8.0.

Suddenly the phone hung up, and the group rang completely. Remove the screen to see it, just one person, one table, one chair, one lamp, and one computer. (A masterpiece of sound-guided extension space)
