Very compact story, can give people a chance to reflect

A story that takes the Cuban crisis as the background and changes the story with real people. Condensed the 13 days that almost affected the world into 2 hours. Although there is no lack of Great Americanism in the play, it is indeed attracted by the compact, tense, and tense atmosphere created in the play! In that emergency situation, the president will have to face huge pressures from inside and outside. If his beliefs are not firm enough, as long as there is a small mistake, a big mistake may be made! I remember the scene where the fighter plane was shot down, and the breathing at that moment was almost stopped!
What's more amazing is that the director has created such a compact atmosphere for us almost without a single shot!

Thirteen Days quotes

  • Kenny O'Donnell: Adlai can handle Zorin. He knows the inning; he knows the score.

Robert Kennedy: He better, because nobody believes he's up to this - nobody.

  • Dean Rusk: The FBI has identified this Alexander Fomin as the Soviet Resident - the KGB equivalent of one of our station chiefs. He's their highest-ranking spy in this country, and he knows John's a friend of mine.

Ted Sorensen: All the trademarks of a back-channel overture.

Kenny O'Donnell: Yeah, some back channel! ABC news guy, my god-damn next-door neighbor...
