It's too long, and the themes are really mixed; of course, Matthew McConaughey's acting skills are as good as ever, but this kind of role is actually not suitable for him, and the selection of films needs to be cautious. Two and a half stars.

Very reluctant Samsung. A film that is extremely neat and trying to please (old school guys). From the beginning of the war scene, the director tried to create a serious and tragic atmosphere, but whether it was a war scene or a love element, it was handled. Unsatisfactory, including the plot of liberating black slaves later, lacks the most basic appeal. Obviously, not everyone can take a good picture of the subject of "Black Slaves", even if you have Matthew's card in your hand.
