A cow fighting against fate

I watched it in the theater when I was traveling before, and it was only these two days that I discovered that the movie was about to be released in China.

In terms of afterthoughts, on the whole, this movie is very routine, but the laughs are good. The children in the movie theater often cheer with the characters in the cartoon. After watching it, they are more satisfied, but not too shocked. It can be classified as a "relatively good" and "worth watching" cartoon, but it is far from the height of "Crazy Zoo" and "COCO".

However, more than half a month later, I often think of this movie and want to write something about it.
If you compare "Crazy Zoo" and "COCO", the former has much more practical significance than the latter, because the theme of "COCO" is love and family. The wonder of this movie is to build an unparalleled The world of undead, and conveys the common feelings of mankind, praises love and reunion. "COCO" does not discuss issues related to the current society, but only states a family view that all mankind accepts and does not accept refutation.
While "Zoo City" discusses discrimination and prejudice, the spectacle of Zoo City built in the movie reflects the current American society where multiple races coexist. This kind of discussion will inevitably generate many voices and arguments. After hundreds of years, society may become more democratic and progressive, and prejudice and discrimination will no longer exist. At that time, when human beings watch this movie, it may become another spectacle.

Like "Crazy Zoo", "Bull Adventures" also has a core topic of discussion-life and destiny. Choose and fight.
There are only two ways for the bull to live, either participate in a bullfighting competition and become a champion, or be slaughtered and become a dish for human beings. In fact, the winners of these two roads are only human beings. As a cow, no matter what, it is a loser.
But the protagonist Bull Ferdinand wants to give his cattle more choices.
Because the bull is huge and strong, the world's setting for the bull is "aggressive". However, Ferdinand doesn't like fighting. He likes flowers and beautiful scenery. To give an inappropriate example, this is like Dashi Johnson likes hello kitty with rhinestones, but Dashi Johnson can like hello kitty. This should not be a problem and should not be questioned.
Just like, boys shouldn't have to like swords and girls should like rag dolls.
There is no "what you have to do" or "how you shouldn't" in this world.
What the film is about is that there are only two ways to go if you are not born in a bullpen. This is a huge world, and Ferdinand can have other choices to live another life to make him a happier life.
Although it is a comedy shell, the core theme that "Adventures of the Bull" wants to explore is actually very heavy.
For most people, like Ferdinand, we study hard, take exams, and work hard to win and live in the big colosseum of society. Success belongs only to those strong bulls. If you are thin and weak, you can only become the meat on the cutting board of others.
"The Adventures of the Bull" tells people another possibility: follow your heart and choose what you really want.
If you get to the bottom of it, Ferdinand's final choice and encounter are actually too fairy tale. He is still relying on humans. If it weren't for the little girl to provide him with a perfect environment, he wouldn't be able to sit under the tree and sniff the fragrance of flowers.
However, the awakening and resistance of the Bulls was meaningful enough.

Ferdinand quotes

  • Angus: [blindly stumbling about the yard, trying to blow his hair out his eyes] Ooh! Who did that! Oh, who pushed me? Who? Who... .

    [bumps into the tractor]

Angus: It was YOU, wasn't it?

Ferdinand: Actually Angus, it was me.

Angus: Aw, I'm doomed. I'm doomed, I'm doomed, I'm doomed! Primero picks a bull tomorrow, and I'm talkin' to a bloomin' tractor!

  • Angus: [Ferdinand figured how to get his hair out of his eyes for the first time in his life] I can see! Look, a rock! And another rock!

    [sees Lupe]

Angus: And the world's most ugliest dog! And there it is, my nemesis! I'm comin' for YOU, ye wee wooden devil!

[charges the barrel and destroys it]

Angus: I did it! I finally beat you!

[Jumps up and down on it]

Angus: Beat you! Beat you! Beat you! Beat you! Beat you! Oh, look at that, that's spectacular!

[he goes to admire the view across the countryside]

Angus: You've given me a fighting chance, Ferdinand. Why would you do such a thing?

Angus: If we don't look out for each other, who will? Besides, it wasn't that big of a deal.

    Angus: It was for me.
