Feeling about the middle-aged crisis, I made a short film about what I wanted to say, and I would like to exchange ideas.

[Ziyuan Product] Alternative Finance Film "Arbitrage Trading" Arbitrage-Wall Post 50
Source: Bilibili Barrage

"Arbitrage Trading" has low ratings on all platforms

I really like its subject matter

I think this is a movie about a midlife crisis

Although the protagonist used to have a wife, a concubine, and a daughter by his side

What I feel is his loneliness from beginning to end

I think he is under tremendous pressure all the time

But no real friend can share his worries

Even just talking

His extramarital affairs with a female painter

It's not so much debauchery as it is a struggle against fate

Lingering for a moment with the concubine

May be the only little taste in his boring life

I thought that the film would end with the hero surrendering himself, and everything ended successfully with a fair judgment, but the result is very interesting. Reminds me of Child Abuse Doubt from a few years ago. This is real life.

It is indeed much worse than the storm of interest. The only actors who can take the shot are Richard Gere and Uncle Ross. Uncle Ross seems to have been wandering out of the LTM. He even leaned on a chair to interrogate the suspect. Like a bird, other people play normally, but it's not enough to play normally during the awards season. The script can be even better, financial plus crime plus horror, the type that is easy to shine, but it is not surprised and disappointed by the processing.

  • [first lines]

Maria Bartiromo: But you took a huge bet on the housing crisis in the middle of the biggest boom in housing anybody has ever seen. Why?

Robert Miller: I'm a child of the '50s. My father welded steel for the Navy, and my mother worked at the V.A. They lived through the Depression, Pearl Harbor, and the bomb. They didn't think that bad things might happen. They knew that bad things would happen.

Maria Bartiromo: Is that what's happening now?

Robert Miller: When I was a kid, my favorite teacher was Mr. James. Mr. James said world events all revolve around five things. M - O - N - E - Y.

  • Ellen Miller: It's all going to be fine. It always is. Just follow the plan.

Robert Miller: And what is that plan?

    Ellen Miller: Confidence equals contract.

Robert Miller: You sound like a fortune cookie.

Ellen Miller: They are your words, actually.

Robert Miller: Then you married an idiot.
