This TV series reproduces the early stages of the American invasion of Iraq just like a documentary. The first two episodes always feel that the pace is slow, waiting for when to fire and fight, but after seeing it, I realized that this episode is not an American blockbuster genre, but as much as possible. It shows the impact of war on mankind. What surprises me is the following points:

1. It is not the propaganda of American heroism, but the fact of war.

2. Not simply anti-war. When I saw the film depicting the lack of discipline and leadership of the Marine Corps, I thought it was anti-war material, but later on IMDB, I was surprised to see the Marines highly appraise its authenticity.

3. A lot of emotions are silent. Especially for military personnel, which are the same in any country, they bear a lot but are unwilling to express, and do not deliberately express their views.

The film is called the "Dark Edition "Brothers"" and is adapted from the novel's personal experience during the Iraq War. From a plot point of view, the story seems "boring" (non-derogatory), but the veterans think this is the most authentic war film. In each episode, there is a phenomenon of indiscriminate killing of innocents, and the degree of criticism gradually increases. The frequency of swear words in the play is extremely high. Three sentences do not leave "Zheng Ri", five lines do not leave "Zheng Ri", ten lines do not leave "Ri Cheng"...

Another HBO work that can almost be seen as a documentary. Maybe not sharp and exciting enough, but you walked into the camps and battlefields of the year again and again unknowingly.
