If this title offends the fans of the two dramas, I apologize here first. It is not malicious to tease. "Scorpion" (Scorpion) is called CBS's most successful original innovative drama in 2014/2015 (and it is not a derivative of the grandpa-level crime drama). It is not an exaggeration, especially when the new drama was wiped out in the previous year. Next, the success of "Scorpio" can be regarded as a boost to CBS. Its plot can be briefly summarized as: a few unsophisticated geniuses formed a "Scorpio" team and went to various places to help the Department of Homeland Security resolve the case. Imagine the combination of CBS’s best-performing feature film "Navy Crime Investigation Service" (NCIS) and the best-performing sitcom "Big Bang Theory" (TBBT). How did the intellectual and low-hearted genius solve the case? Just look at "Scorpio".

This drama is a little bit magical. In the first season, the group has been to war zones, entered the White House, bounced planes, skipped cruise ships, stopped bombs, and saved the president; there have been several moments where lives are hanging by a thread, and there are no lack of clichéd emotional dramas— -Some plot settings are not realistic, and the slightly jerky acting skills of a few young actors occasionally make the audience appear on the scene, but many people persisted and watched them with gusto. Compared to the setting of most crime dramas-the tragedy of the heroine and the heroine is the main line, interspersed with the daily plot-"Scorpio" is not serious at all, there are not so many annoying things, and the characters do not have a dark side that is too depressing. . The lively tone makes it a very successful pastime.

Several people in "Scorpio" have their own strengths: the boss Walter is a genius proficient in computer software; the group’s mobile supercomputer Sylvester, whose main task is to calculate the remaining rescue time after the case occurs, and add a sense of urgency to the whole show; a psychologist Toby, in the play, finds the opponent’s weakness or recognizes the opponent’s lies (see Patrick Jane in "Super Sensible Detective") and part-time team doctor; the mechanical genius Happy, as small as opening a safe and repairing airplanes and cruises, nothing can be hard for her. The Cabe agent of Homeland Security takes full-time responsibility and cleans up the mess; Paige, the front of the team responsible for communicating with outsiders, was just an ordinary restaurant waiter before meeting this group, but the encounter between the genius son Ralph and a few others completely changed her destiny. Because of the particularity of the job, several geniuses with negative EQ have to enter society, contact all kinds of people, and even die to complete tasks; they are always misunderstood, but they can always use their strength (IQ) to prove their value. As a result, the audience saw the unique humor as a genius, the disdain and inhumanity of ordinary people, the jokes made because of stubborn arrogance, and the expression of shy and lame emotions. Behind the seeming indifference of this strategic response team is more cute, funny and even warm. Although many of the plots are not so credible, there are more moments that can't help but make the audience wonder what other adventures will come next.

The origin of the name "Scorpio", as Walter explained: "The scorpions are very loyal to the members of the scorpion. If one of them is attacked, all the other scorpions will join the battle." The season finale is more like a whole season. The summary: Walter hangs on the cliff at any time, there is a danger of death. Others use their own strengths to carry out rescues-this is not only to save Walter, but also to interpret the meaning of "Scorpio" with practical actions. In addition, the inconspicuous small objects such as flying standard syringes, silver fountain pens, and a crow created several thrilling moments in just 20 minutes. Although he knows that he will not die as the protagonist, it still makes people. Don't be boring to fast forward.

In addition to the tacit cooperation between the groups, the development of various emotions in the play is a highlight in my opinion. I was moved countless times by the entangled father-son relationship between Cabe, who lost his daughter, and Walter, who was unable to communicate with his biological father. The protagonist is also very easy to make up several pairs: Walter and Paige, Happy and Toby, Sylvester and Walter's sister Megan who suffers from multiple sclerosis-cliché but not bloody, sincere and humorous. The plot after everyone came out of the Walter ward in the first season actually conveyed a very positive future to the audience: Sylvester went to visit Megan. Although Happy did not forgive Toby, he actively invited him to take care of Ralph. Paige agreed to stay and kissed and fell asleep. Walter-is he really asleep? There is also an echo that is particularly heartwarming in my opinion: In the first episode, Paige was troubled by not being able to communicate with his genius son Ralph. At the end of the season, Ralph took the initiative to rush to his mother and said sweetly to her: "Thank you. Didn't force me to leave them."-A particularly touching scene, which seems to imply that everyone is growing up and everyone has changed during the year in the Scorpio team.

The ending of the first season was successful. There was no suspense left in order to attract the audience to watch the next season. The plot was intense and exciting at the same time warm and joyful, which is probably the feeling that this drama has always brought to the audience. Scorpio team, see you next season!

One episode is abandoned, how far is the distance between a civil airliner and a Ferrari? A laptop's Internet cable... just stupid! I checked that this Taiwanese director is a Capricornus, so be careful when you name it next time

It seems to have been abandoned half a year ago =

  • Walter O'Brien: My name is Walter O'Brien. I have the fourth-highest IQ ever recorded: 197. Einstein's was 160. When I was 11, the FBI arrested for me for hacking NASA to get their blueprints for my bedroom wall. Now I run a team of geniuses, tackling worldwide threats only we can solve. Toby's our behaviorist. Sylvester's a human calculator. Happy, a mechanical prodigy. Agent Cabe Gallo is our government handler. And Paige? Well, Paige isn't like us; she's normal. She translates the world for us, while we help her understand her genius son. Together, we are Scorpion.
