dull

This movie, with the word "plain", is very plain throughout, and I don't want to narrate too much.

From the child to the uncle’s house, the first acquaintance with magic, to the unintentional resurrection of Isaac,

From Isaac getting the key to start the alarm clock, to the last Louis’s little skill to save the world,

There is no surprise in the whole process, just a little magic, a few words will bring a scene,

It's boring and not interesting.

And there is no 1V1 magic battle, or the uncle is casually put down by Isaac, or he is using magic to fight creatures..

Hey, it’s okay, just take a look, the above is just a personal opinion

The teasing of Forrest Gump made me a little confused. The movie is almost good, with slightly dark but novel fantasy scenes, as well as the appropriate progress of events from the perspective of children (about half an hour to introduce the background and become a warlock, one hour Bringing out more villains and having a few little adventures with cemetery candy store pumpkin fights, and finally about 20 minutes to beat the opponent without pain), too little magic skills to show for me....and Jack Black is a bit too much I'm stealing the show, especially the babybody part, it's all about cooperating with him...

It still retains a little weirdness like Eli Rose, but it's only to this extent, it's really a pity that I can barely deal with what I'm watching. Of course, Kate the Devil's shape is still great.

Jonathan Barnavelt: [writing letter] Dear Lewis: Enclosed, please find one bus ticket and two silver dollars for your trip to Michigan. I'm really sorry about the loss of your parents. Your mom was my sister, so that makes you family. And I'll do my best to make you feel right at home. As Einstein said, life is like a bicycle. To stay balanced, you got to keep moving forward. And so will we. I look forward to meeting you. Your Uncle Jonathan. PS Sorry for the stain on the letter. That's chocolate.

  • Jonathan Barnavelt: We don't know where the clock is or what it does, except something horrible. No, we gotta do the responsible thing: lie to the kid.
