Best scream

——Film Critic of "The Fierce Line"

"Furious Line" is a commercial version of "Zoom" in a way, but director Brian de Palma designed and handled this change well.

Not only in terms of character settings, the protagonist of "Zoom" is a photographer, and the protagonist of "Furious Line" is a sound engineer. This change allows the audience to watch the movie more intuitively and with a sense of substitution, and it also paves the way for the ending.

The first thing worth mentioning is the narrative level. The film uses a two-line mode, one is Jack, a sound designer, in order to find a good scream dubbing, and the other is to investigate the murder of the presidential candidate. The same applies to the handling of the ending. It may be a tragedy for the relationship between the two, but for Jack's film dubbing, it is the best scream ever. This also reflects the helplessness of ordinary people under political conspiracy.

The use of light, shadow and color also rendered the atmosphere of the film well. When encountering bloody violence, directors often use shadows to express reservedly, which can add a lot of space and a degree of imagination to the audience. At the same time, large swaths of red are used to warn people and dangers. The bright red American flag, bright red blood. All of this has a strong impact, and it seems to express pain frame after frame.

Although the "last minute rescue" designed at the end of the film is clichéd, it is also applicable to this film. Because when the tragedy happened, Jack received a satisfying scream and lost his love forever. Behind the sky full of fireworks and the huge American flag is a crazy and distressing tragedy. The crowd below cheered selflessly and paraded lively. This may even more set off the grief of birth and death.

The movement of the rotating lens is also just right. It accurately expresses the character's anxiety about not being able to find the original soundtrack. At the same time, it uses visual processing to increase the inner troubles of the character through the rotation of the turntable and enrich the character's image better.

The old-fashioned but unconventional movie, the final death is a trembling treatment. Maybe he would never think that this would be his most satisfying scream in his recording career.

Political conspiracy + Xiezhige thriller + serial killer, many elements are independent and govern together, no matter the narrative technique, photography, and editing, they have shocked four people in the past, Palma's sturdy and fat Zun's youth, "Blow Out" " is definitely a classic that has been ignored, especially the suppressed emotions at the end can't be vented, the bones are stuck in the throat, and it's hard to let go.

The film has a skilled narrative and precise rhythm control. The concept of "meta-movie" introduced at the beginning is not just a simple joke, but organically integrated into the film's narrative. Obviously influenced by Hitchcock a lot, ingenious suspense ideas can be seen everywhere in the film, and the atmosphere of several murder scenes is full of tension. With Parma's superb audio-visual language, the scene in which the male protagonist pieced up the scene of the case has nothing to do with it. Questions are the best part of the film. However, there are some minor issues with the film. Like most of the Greek films, the male protagonist is the absolute center of the film. The male lead, played by Travolta, can be described as plump and real, but the female characters are portrayed as stupid vases, frequently in crisis, and obviously used to promote Fake characters of the plot. In addition, the placement of several plots is also slightly blunt, which is most obvious in the third act. Overall, The Line is a brilliant thriller, and Parma once again struck me with his brilliantly conceived and sophisticated handling.
