Laszlo Gerais focused on describing the experience of a Hungarian Jew named Sol (Geza Rorig) working in the Auschwitz concentration camp contingent, rather than trying to reproduce the whole massacre scene
Through the ending, the film questioned Sol's approach. What does such a mission mean in Auschwitz, especially for someone who was forced to participate in the massacre?
"Son of Sol" neither has an exaggerated plot, nor does it secularly use salvation as the core of the film
What impressed me most was the big red cross behind Sol and their clothes.
