I can’t wait to watch the screening of Captain Phillips and Gravity recently. I was lucky to get a CP ticket. Although my phone was confiscated when I entered the hall, it’s a movie that allows people to concentrate. Anyway, you don’t want to be immersed in tension. Play with your phone when you’re in the story!

Captain Philip of the United States was hijacked by Somali pirates while transporting cargo at sea. I thought that the whole film would be shot from the perspective of the American crew, but the film also showed the lives of Somali men. When pirates seemed to them to be a job, when recruiting crews from the coast, all the men tried their best to get on the ship; while working hard for their own livelihoods, they still had pressure from their big bosses. The Captain Lean Monkey Pirate really didn't want to hurt Philip, even though he was taken hostage as a bargaining chip in the end. The details of the film reveal the pirate captain's small yearning for the United States. He said that in the future, he will go to the United States and see New York if he has money. If they didn't coerce Philip into a lifeboat, they might be able to save their own life. The film tells the story in a more true and neutral manner, without turning the pirates too much villainous, nor too much heroizing Philip. Philip tried to minimize the damage and ensure the safety of all crew members, but unfortunately he was forced to escape with the pirates on a lifeboat. After a series of mental and physical torture, all emotions exploded after trying to jump off the boat to survive. He avoided the sight of the pirate and tried to write his last words and his love and concern for his family. When the last words were taken away, his hands tied and blindfolded, at the last moment of his life, he was desperate. All the screaming and struggling, after the navy killed the pirate, turned into a howl of relief and collapse. Uncle Tom’s perfect acting skills made people shed tears for the captain who passed through life and death. Another scene that made me cry was the perfect performance when Philip was rescued on the ship and had a physical examination with the doctor. The shock and fear after life and death were all written on Uncle Tom's face. The squatting conversations and the constant tears left me couldn't help but make me emotional.

After watching the movie, what I think about the most is the fate of people. If these pirates were born in the United States, it would be a different kind of life. Somalia has found the easiest way to make money in the turbulent situation. These cargo ships and fishing boats illegally fishing in other countries have become their tools of making money. Sometimes there is a lot of helplessness in life, and sometimes right or wrong is the most superficial judgment of one thing.

At the end of the film, Philip returned to the sea after the hijacking incident in 2010. I think I need to add another message: 11 former crew members allege in lawsuits that Phillips employers, through Phillips' actions, put them in grave danger when the ship sailed within about 250 miles of the Somalian coast despite warnings to stay at least 600 miles out because of pirate activity Indicates that it must be at least 600 miles away, but Maersk Alabama is 250 miles off the coast of Somalia). Although the film does not involve the handling of this incident, nor does it involve background information about their ship (Maersk Alabama), the current situation of Somali pirates still requires a lot of thinking and solutions. Choosing a closer distance in order to reduce expenses almost created a more serious situation. In any case, Captain Philip is admirable, and the acting of the actor Uncle Tom is also admirable. This film is worth going to the theater to contribute to the box office.

Greengrass's hand-held camera still shakes just right. In addition, the three-primary color additive method has improved in the narrative method. The only thing that makes me uncomfortable is that most of the film is actually consuming a white man and four black lambs. I think the two roles of Abdi and Najee are absolutely worthy of a supporting actor figurine, but this will become a great irony to Somalia.
