Dark and light

I thought I read the short comment, spoiler, after the trailer, I would cry in tears when I went to the cinema.

But I can't even cry. I just feel suffocated.

People who are alive don't reflect on why tragedies circulate, but wishfully think that everything will get better, immersed in the future, how do you know such absurd assumptions?

In the nonsense that everything will get better, We shall overcome, tragedy is passed on from generation to generation.

More than miserable children?

More than endless poverty?

More than a stupid war?

More than a beautiful lie?

More than a cold slaughter?

More than greedy plunder?

If the so-called optimism is useful, then today is already the world of idealism.

If mankind has made much progress, then there would have been a splendid and peaceful civilization.

However, despite the continuous advancement of technology, society continues to change.

The fact that people are like weeds has never changed for thousands of years.

Is there light? Yes.

You can see the light because the other half of this world is struggling in the dark.

"The Thief's Family" cuts into the vagueness of human nature from a universal social problem, while "Capernaum" uses personal circumstances as a sample to expose the lack of social institutions. Both do the best in their respective frameworks, but the former is more textually ambiguous. There are too many vivid and vivid details in "Capernaum", but when these details are evenly scattered in the film like seeds, they lose that shocking power. Regarding the logical relationship between Zain's "wandering" and "going to prison", compared with the interlocking play structure of "Little Guy", the director's current handling is obviously too perfunctory.

Ten years ago, I watched the director Caramel had been paying attention to, listened to the soundtrack written by her husband, and watched her French films, until Capharnaum was shortlisted for the Cannes main competition and became the most anticipated film on the personal list. I haven't seen it for ten years. All the aura and cleverness at the beginning are still there, but the lens has become more calm and clean. The warmth in the ending is the compassion left by the female director in the cruel reality.
