Annoying comedy-"Gold Rush"

Two days ago, my friend told me that it had already snowed in my hometown. The scene that reminds me first is not that the scattered snowflakes fall to the ground, and then the people who were stumbled inadvertently stepped on them, turning into muddy sewage along with the filth of the entire city, but my mother is sitting alone in the north house, watching On TV, she is busy with those sweaters that can never be finished. Although the north is already heating at this time, the bleakness of late autumn and the coldness of early winter add up to make people lonely.

The weather in the hectic south has also turned cold, and the people around me are troubled by colds one by one. I wondered, it turned out that this place is not like spring in all seasons. Compared with the desolate north, the only thing missing is the vastness of snow and the warmth of the two.

I rarely watch movies recently. Perhaps because of the snow, I remembered the "Gold Rush" I saw a while ago. This is one of the best works of Master Chaplin. Speaking of Chaplin, probably the first thought that people come up with is comedy. Yes, he is an out-and-out comedy master. His humor is unmatched. He is a legend in the silent film era. I like Chaplin’s comedics. The more I watch it, the more I can realize what living humor is. From belly laughter to serious face, it’s hard to imagine, with a slight smile, but in the end. It's sad.

A homeless man with dreams comes to the legendary golden foreign land alone. What he sees here is not the treasures at hand, but the extreme cold of the weather, the shortage of food, and the suffering of human nature. The dream is so far away. The first thing to solve is the problem of food and clothing. In the face of the cruelty of the ice and snow, you must also overcome the cold and hunger. Boots boiled in snow water, this is a hearty dinner, soles are like burgers, shoe spikes are like chicken bones, and shoelaces are like noodles. Those who eat it are unintentional, and those who see it are disgusting. But for those who want to survive, it is a sturdy and tenacious spiritual feast. In addition, they have to endure even more cruel tests. The chicken-like companion in the helpless illusion will become the last supper in the belly, or the straw of interdependence, human nature has fallen again and again, and again and again, in despair. The painful struggles are all for dreams and hopes that never die.

The heart of the poor boy is endlessly longing, and a girl's unintentional smiling face can also be regarded as love. Which one is more worthy of believable dreams or affectionateness in front of me? There must be an idea in life, so the young man chooses love. To work hard for this, to wait for this, what a value-for-money life, even if it turns out to be nothing in the end. God and us, the filmmakers and those who watched the movie, didn't want the world to be unturned. The young man danced the bread with his fork, and his true feelings from his heart finally won the girl's heart.

Gold digger, boldly explain, looking for people who depend on each other in a lonely and hopeless foreigner, and looking for the sustenance of spiritual soul in the hard work of life. Isn’t the hapless person played by Chaplin me? Isn’t it all the people who have dreams like me but don’t know where they end up wandering?

In the past two days, I have been reading the anthology of Czech writer Hrabal. He was very proud to call Chaplin his role model. He is both an optimistic pessimist and a pessimistic optimist. The eighty-four-year-old man finally broke his life by falling from a building, "I have done everything I should do, so why am I staying here? Now it doesn't matter." I believe that this is a A typical comedy ends in death, and the whole process is disturbing for a lifetime.

At the end of the film, the young man has money again and the love he is looking forward to. I don't like such an entangled bright tail. I just hope to get everything I deserve and smile at life.

Still don't have dubbing, really. Silent films have their own charm.

A classic of silent films and one of the masterpieces of Master Chaplin's mature period, the version with added soundtrack and narration is equally wonderful. Less irony and criticism, more humor and laughter, I like such little people, and a warm Happy ending! Chaplin and Buster Keaton, these two great masters, need time to study and appreciate.
