The cycle of windmills
Evert 2021-12-13 08:01:10
An interesting image in "Return" is a huge windmill: a white, huge electric windmill slowly turning in the wind. In the accompanying soundtrack, the violin and harp play a soothing tune. The wind rolled up the dirt road with yellow sand flying, and in the distance were rows of windmills. The scene was very beautiful. The windmill also obviously echoes the ancient Spanish literary tradition-the famous Renaissance masterpiece "Don Quixote" has the famous scene of the battle between Don Quixote and the windmill. The wheels of the windmill go round and round, symbolizing the reincarnation of life, and fit the theme of "return".
