twenty two

Last night, I went to watch "The Guardian", which was translated into "Adventure on the Waves" in the theater.

At first glance at the Chinese translation, I thought it was a disaster and personal heroism film with big production and big investment. It was nothing more than using big scenes and special effects to attract the attention of the audience. Therefore, I was quite hesitant about whether to buy tickets to enter the venue.

It seems to have discovered that although the initial guess is not a deviation, it is actually different. When the theme of saving lives is permeated all the time, under the turbulent waves that shock the vision, what is actually more shocking is the brilliance of humanity. Although the plot is a bit old-fashioned, and although the ending can be roughly guessed, it does not affect my love of this movie. I am willing to be moved by it.

The most memorable thing is a number: 22. It is not how many lives have been saved, but how many people have not been successfully saved. The great personality is fully manifested at this moment.

Still like Kevin-Costner. Although it has been a long, long time, I have never watched his movies.

Minus one star! ! Because, the director forced the male protagonist to death! ! TT The last 20 minutes are wasted film, wasted film! TT (the old routine of inspirational themes...the male protagonist is still a myth after his death) The electric eyes of Kutcher's children's shoes are so powerful...Oh, hey, support the wall...( _ _)ノ|

The main theme heroism movie of the United States is moving, shocking, and acting, and the quality is not bad~~

The Guardian quotes

  • Jake Fischer: [voice-over] The Coast Guard conducted the largest search and rescue missions for a single man in its history, but the body of Senior Chief Ben Randall was never found. What makes a legend? Is it what someone did while they were alive? Or how they're remembered after they're gone? Some people actually believe Senior Chief made the swim to the Aleutian Islands, that he's standing on a distant beach somewhere with a fishing pole in his hand. But I found my answer a couple of weeks later.

[Jake pulls a victim into the helicopter]

    Drowning Victim: Where is he?

Jake Fischer: Huh? There's nobody else out there, man.

Drowning Victim: No, he was there! He was with me the whole time! He said he would hold on till help arrived. He never let go!

Jake Fischer: [voice-over] There is a legend of a man who lives beneath the sea. He is a fisher of men, a last hope for all those who've been left behind. He is know as the Guardian.

  • Jake Fischer: That guy who holds all them records, is he still alive?

Capt. Frank Larson: Why do you ask?

Jake Fischer: Just thought you ought to let him know I'm about to knock his name off that board.

Capt. Frank Larson: Why don't you let him know yourself? He's standing right behind you.
