Sophia in state

I watched Sofia Coppola's "Marian Tovanette" last night.
I started to feel a little boring, what is this all about?
How come they are repeated details, and there is no plot to move forward at all? What about the driving force? What about the main character?
It's like a super luxurious MV.
The shooting method also seems messy, swaying, and random, without the stability and thickness of large historical themes at all, the
music is more jumping, and it does not follow the plot and the era at all. It always pulls you out of the movie. It
is the kind of electronic music without texture. Flirtatious, psychedelic, and hollow.

However, this is what
I admire most after 30 minutes of watching it.

I have watched "The Queen of the Decapitated Head" before. In fact, it is also the original novel of this movie by Sophia.
The key point in the novel is not only her luxury, but also her death, which makes life more vivid.
Highlighting the dignity she gave herself, her growth, she eventually became a true queen.
Highlight the most valuable love in her life.
......
These things together, it is probably the magnificent, rich and colorful movie like "Queen Margot".

But Sophia's movie is not like this.
Movie scripts do not rely on skills, but on concepts.
The important thing is to always be in the state.
The focus of this movie is not conflict and story, history and culture,
but details, feelings, atmosphere, and state.
What is important is the personal life and inner state of the young Mary, Queen of France.

In the morning after HIGH, I feel headache and empty.
Other people's mistress gave birth to a child, but he and her husband had no bedclothes, that kind of painful cry.
After giving birth to the first child, people became pure, wearing a simple white dress, and playing with her daughter in the grass.
In the early morning, with the pet and the court lady, greet the early morning in front of the water.
Combining with the man I really like for the first time, and on the way back, I am infinite joy.
...

This is the style of prose.
Who ever thought about making a luxurious movie in prose, about an important person in history?
Especially in Hollywood.
The film is to show, but the essence of the film is to hide.
There are very few lines in the movie, which is correct.
Movies are watched by the eyes, but dramas are watched by the ears.

What I admire most about movies is that they completely defeated explanatory consciousness.
Who is the man next to Mary?
Who is her best friend?
What is their relationship with her?
No, the movies don't investigate and examine these at all: these are often the lifeblood of historical themes.
The movie is frivolous, light and shadowy, and bustling. These people are all here and laughing.
Then finally, they left one by one.

But I think this may be closer to Mary's life.
In fact, there is no way to investigate Mary's real life, and there is no need to pursue it at all.
Just as the ending of the movie does not have to tell us how she died,
we have already seen her attitude:
she was on the carriage, looking at Versailles, her eyes were no longer without content.
The escaped king asked her: "What are you thinking?"
She said calmly: "Say goodbye to them."

The personal reason for watching this movie was that Maggie Cheung had recommended it to me.
When I first watched, I briefly doubted her vision, and
after watching it, it turned into understanding and respect.
Sure enough, it didn't disappoint me!

With such a level of film, it can only be guessed that Cannonero wants to hold a show to enter the high-end clothing market, but he can't think of a way to transform. So I found an acquaintance Coppola: Hey, you can set up a stage for me again. Old Ke listened, hey! It happens that Sophia wants to make a historical drama to play in depth, or you two will add up. Anyway, just for fun, the money is just swiped from my account! So a palace-themed fashion show was born, with occasional stories to set it off
