Nonsensical comedy

A war comedy by Robert Altman. Wait, it sounds strange. War films are always full of cruelty and pain. Where can comedies come from? But Altman made such a hilarious and heartless comedy.

The whole film is full of nonsensical spoofs and black humor, which can be described as a needle hidden in the cotton. Many images are impressive, even the small supporting role radar can make people laugh, and the general who appeared last is a thorough and unremarkable, subverting the majestic image of the general. Of course, the most successful character portrayed is Miss Hot Lips. From the initial false formality to the final completely unreliable character, her nature has been thoroughly excavated.

In fact, the so-called satirical analysis of what kind of war is quite superfluous. I prefer to treat it as a comedy, just laugh and be happy.

This film is ranked 7th in the top 100 American comedy films selected by AFI.

The Korean War from the American perspective (it actually used the Korean War to satirize the Vietnam War). With a very low investment, it earned more than 80 million box office results. It completely defeated the political film "General Patton" that served the Vietnam War. However, the film lost to the Oscar. The latter. The irony is that these two films that look at wars are produced by Fox (this is how bitches are made. Just like the ownership of the Diaoyu Islands, the Chinese version of Baidu says it’s China, and the Japanese version says it’s Japan)

It doesn't hurt when it begins, but as it works it's way on in.

  • Hawkeye Pierce: Duke?

Duke Forrest: [in the middle of a brain operation with Spearchucker] Uh... what is it?

Hawkeye Pierce: Henry's got our orders. We can go home.

    Duke Forrest: Right now?

    Spearchucker: Anytime! Whenever we want.

Spearchucker: [to Duke] You mind if we get out of this guy's brain first?
