In fact, aside from those surreal reasoning skills and the logic of the film, "Detective" has only a simple suspense: Chen Guibin, a retired police officer played by Liu Qingyun, is involved in the investigation of a series of serial robberies, and he intuitively suspects a police detective involved in the case. Gao Zhiwei (Lin Jiadong) confessed falsely and firmly believed that Gao Zhiwei was suspected of murder. The whole "Detective" is the process of police officer Chen Guibin using all means to prove his intuition.

Lao Du added a dark tone to "Detective", reused close-up shots and a lot of subjective shots, and added dynamic pictures and surreal hints, creating a A "mind control" effect.

The audience often sees the first perspective of the police detective played by Liu Qingyun: he sees the "ghost" in other people's hearts, his assumptions, his guesses.

In the second most time, the audience saw the "first perspective" of the inspector He Jiaan (An Zhijie) who followed Liu Qingyun: what he saw was the unpredictable behavior and unreasonable behavior of "the detective". The first half he was trying to understand, the second half he was trying to resist. The process of this psychological change is exactly the process from "coward" to "ghost in heart".

To Qifeng maintained the stylization after leaving Wei Jiahui in the action scenes and details, and the theme continued the consistent fatalism, but this "Detective" looks rougher and more subjective. In recent years, Lao Du's preference for calm, elegant, romantic group dramas and high feelings (carrying too many things) have all converged in "The Detective" and were replaced by realistic performances with distinct priorities. The actual scene of the film is also relatively realistic (except for the end, the explicit To Qifeng label).

In Galaxy's works over the years, the style of "Detective" is actually very close to You Dazhi's "Dark Flower", and the underlying structure is also similar, but the plot is relatively simple.

If "Detective" can score 80 points, at least 60 points will depend on Liu Qingyun's excellent performance. This movie was almost "occupied" by Liu Qingyun. Most of the time, the plot is driven by focusing on the protagonist's emotional moments, facial expressions, psychological changes and capricious body language... As a result, the extreme test of acting skills just gave Liu Qingyun room to play, a talented madman The characters are vivid....

It's hard to imagine this year's Academy Award winner if it wasn't for Liu Qingyun Lianzhuang......

It is almost Liu Qingyun's crazy play and the film's expressive skills that cover up the weak plot.

In fact, there is nothing new in the meaning of "psychological ghosts" alone~~ "Detective" only tells about the many changes in the heart when faced with crisis and temptation, as well as the random results of people with different personalities.

But the audience was attracted by the "ghost" approach and the "ghost" atmosphere, coupled with the appeal of Liu Qingyun's performance, which replaced the analysis of the rationality of the plot in real life.

Du Qifeng is trying more forms of expression, his idea and Wei Jiahui's script did not have much breakthrough. But Lao Du has become increasingly adept at mobilizing actors and controlling audiences.

Legend has it that babies can see ghosts with their eyes through the sky. Cut off ears, blowing whistles, and misty police guns, all kinds of clues serve not only a simple case, but reveal the souls of greed, vain, recklessness, gluttony, and cowardice in people's hearts. This is a film that I am afraid of after watching it. The idea is very good. Unfortunately, I only ordered it so far. It is no problem to make a series abroad.

The ending of the Hong Kong version was that the police "planted and blamed", but in the mainland version it became "surrendered".
