I like the first segment the most, the segment between Xiu Mei and Brother A Bing in 1966, "Dream of Love", which is indeed "the best time"; and the second segment, the 1911 classic silent film "Freedom". "Dream", there is no voice dialogue at all, and the language of the characters in the play is all inserted and displayed with vertical traditional subtitles. When watching, it is more tiring than watching Chaplin's silent films, at least Master Zhuo's silent films are horizontal. The third paragraph, the one from 2005, is the least favorite. The chaotic, disorderly, inexplicable feelings of modern people are all mixed together. Drug addiction, homosexuality, bisexuality, hopeless and decadent mental state is engraved on every day. On a person's face, people can't see hope and future, and everything seems very pale. But this part is called "Youth Dream".
It is worth mentioning that there are two episodes in the first paragraph, Rain and Tears at the beginning and end, and Smoke gets in your eyes in the middle. These two episodes stunned the budding, hazy, tentative, but brave and sweet feelings of Xiu Mei and Brother A Bing a little bit, especially at the end, where the two tentatively touched their hands gently. Hands, and then fingers interlocked, people couldn't help but their hearts softened a little bit, the beach became a piece, and it turned into water. What a sweet ending.
