Fiction, Dreams and Reality

From the early multi-line fragmented narrative to the gradual silence and suppression in the middle, the inertia of drama almost makes you think that reality will inevitably follow the ending of the novel, and nothing can stop it. The plot is indeed like this, the gunshots rang out, the guns hit the bottom of my heart, and I was completely desperate. The last shot rang out, awakening the sleeping policeman, the cheating wife, and with a bang, the plot changed suddenly. The last shot cuts to the only dead character in the show, the suicide husband. First the panorama, then the close-up of the gun, then the blood on the wall, and finally the broken and bleeding back of the husband's head. As soon as the picture turned, the wife woke up from her sleep and vomited sideways because of the fear of the dream...

So far, the complex structure of the film has drawn a clear line between novels, dreams and reality at the last gunshot, and the film also came to an end with Tsai Qin's soothing singing.

However, how comfort can change the background of life, or it can be said, "Life is a deadly terrorist attack, and we are each other's terrorists."

Extended Reading

Big screen rewatch. I was attracted by inconsequential details. When the female writer went to her ex-boyfriend to run a company, the open window reflected the figure of the cleaning worker hanging in the air, and then the camera was pulled outside to put the cleaning worker and the female writer in a frame. The cleaners have no narrative role at all. But this inexplicable connection seems to imply that our worlds are all connected, and this is similar to the structure of the film in which the three stories are combined in an accidental way.

I don't remember who said that the highest state of reading literary works and watching movies is an indescribable feeling of desolation. Yang Dechang's this is the same.
