At the end of the film, the adopted son, who had been away for many years without any news, came back and called Yao Jun, who was out of town. The old couple was overjoyed, took turns answering the phone, and kept saying, "Mom and Dad will be back soon, just wait!" with a humble smile on their faces. I can't help but sigh that children mean too much to Chinese parents, not to mention the past generation, even our peers who have become parents, haven't they also shifted the focus of their lives to their children? The ideal life shown at the end of this film is nothing more than that of the Shen family, with children who are academically successful and have a big fat grandson. But is this really happy? Or do people live for these in their entire lives?
