Crazy stone, not crazy Ning Hao

I have always had a soft spot for noir films, and most of these films are divided into two types: one is a positive epic depiction, and the other is a dark humor, which is extremely cynical and teasing. The former type, "The Godfather" and "Once Upon a Time in America" has reached its peak, and it is difficult for future generations to match it; while the black humor type is full of ghosts and talents, giving fans countless surprises.
"Crazy Stone" also gave me some surprises, at least in China's backwater movie industry, let me see that Chinese people still have a sense of humor. Chinese movie fans are actually the most tolerant movie fans in the world. As long as the film has some new ideas and talents, the movie fans will support and cheer for it. That's why countless movie fans defected to "The Promise" and supported Hu Ge's bizarre phenomenon.
But after watching the film, I feel that Ning Hao in reality must worship him. Of course, it is rare for Chinese people to see such a high-quality film. After watching "Crazy Stone", they are overjoyed, and I have no intention of pouring cold water on it. But it is inevitable to make a few words of complaints, which is also due to the support for domestic products and the ardent expectation that they will become dragons and sweep the world movie circle.
The characters in "Crazy Stone" are all crazy people, but I don't think the director Ning Hao is crazy enough. What is the reason? Fans of Guy Ritchie's "Two Smoking Guns" will know the answer. The seven London gangsters in the film were originally living a life where they couldn't make a living, but they were mixed up because of gambling, drugs, robbery, debt collection, and theft. Guy Ritchie is well versed in storytelling, and the plot arrangement is as dazzling as a Rubik's Cube, and it is endless; with rock soundtracks and fast scene switching, it's so cool to watch! Especially when the last few gangsters gradually came together, ready to sharpen their knives and fire their guns, the slow beat of the drums gradually accelerated, which made my colleagues feel relaxed and excited.
So, Ning Hao isn't crazy in terms of navigating the characters and the storyline. The five groups of characters are vying for and robbing each other around the stone, but it feels lively and lacking in tension; there is more than enough humor, but not enough black. It was the last international thief who killed his employer, with a face full of astonishment and embarrassment, and learned from Guy Ritchie. So it was easy for Ning Hao to make the audience laugh, but the cold, helpless, amazed and embarrassed humor was still unfamiliar.
But I'm still very relieved, because at least Ning Hao keeps the audience happy all the time. In the current film industry where the fifth-generation directors have lost their standard, and Director Feng has some talents, Ning Hao still allows the audience to experience Chinese-style black humor. Thinking about the underworld boss who taught his subordinates to have no taste in clothes, the man replied seriously in standard Shandong dialect: This is a brand, BANELO, which still makes people laugh.
However, I still feel that there is too little black humor, and it makes people unsatisfied. I hope that Comrade Wang Xiaobo, a literary genius who died young, can become a screenwriter, so that everyone can see what Chinese-style black humor is.
