"Pompeii Doomsday Burning City": Life is impermanent, and cherish it

The ancient city of Pompeii, which has been in existence for more than a thousand years, does exist, and it is a testimony to the glory of ancient Rome. No one would have thought that a violent volcanic eruption sealed the city in dust for more than a thousand years. It was not until the 18th century that the city reappeared in people's sight. With this as the background, the movie tells the story of a slave Xue Nuo met, knew, fell in love with a Bai Fumei, and died in a volcanic eruption while kissing. The plot is relatively simple, coupled with cool special effects and editing, really makes people feel quite romantic. However, some of the plots in it cannot withstand scrutiny, and the heavy fact that Pompeii was destroyed, after the film's interpretation, has an extra layer of fantasy. For someone who does not understand the background of the ancient city, he may think that this is a fiction by the director. Pompeii is a very good movie theme (not inferior to the Titanic accident), but the director's vision is a bit narrow, too much constrained on personal love, and ignoring the deep meaning behind the destruction, making the movie seem a bit top-heavy. However, I still want to talk about the advantages of this movie. First of all, the pictures and special effects of the entire film are very delicate. At the beginning of the movie, killing was written from the perspective of a child. This defamiliarization approach is very attractive. In addition, the scenes of the battle between the slaves were also very exciting. Of course, we can guess that the male protagonist beats the heroes at the same time and smashes the whole audience. The horse is a clue throughout the whole play. The male protagonist is from the horse tribe. Because the horse fell and the male protagonist met the female protagonist, the male protagonist went to comfort the female protagonist’s horse due to the small earthquake. Riding a horse to escape from the raging flames (not escaped)... Although the story is somewhat routine, the clue of horses formed a whole and became a highlight of the movie. Here are a few complaints. There is a sense of blockbuster film at the beginning of the movie, but it doesn't seem to have much to do with the main theme of love. The first time the male lead and the female lead met, it was strange that a slave captured the princess’s heart in the two-minute play. Was it a bit abrupt? Why didn’t you arrange for them to meet in childhood? Most of the contradictions are solved by fighting and killing, which makes people feel like watching a boxing match. The earthquake that came just now is a bit false. Compared with "Tangshan Earthquake" and "Killing Lives", they wanted to show the earthquake, and the early performance was quite obscure. This kind of implicitness is hinting that a major event is imminent. The movie showed the precursors of the volcanic eruption with fanfare, and the people in the city didn't care at all. The old black man said that he had been accustomed to this situation a long time ago-which is equivalent to saying that there was no special sign before the eruption of the volcano. To be honest, I don't believe it in the movie. The climax of the movie is that the hero is struggling to fight, when the volcano suddenly erupts NS. The ground broke and the ground shook and the mountains shook. Everyone was running away, and at this time, a few people were still fighting for grievances (Is it hard to protect themselves?). After the male protagonist escaped, he ran back to find a horse as a mount to escape, and finally got the horse, but the horse fell overwhelmed (the horse that was found cannot be used). Disappeared into the flames with the last kiss... The biggest gain is to re-recognize this city that has disappeared for more than a thousand years. Things are impermanent, children, old people, men, women, nobles, slaves, and thousands of creatures are instantly frozen in this huge group of sculptures, disappearing into the dust of history, making people sigh. Nowadays, this ancient city sees the sky again. In it, you can see all kinds of people walking towards death in different attitudes. Each of them is miserable, but there is no way. Life is impermanent. If tomorrow you will die forever, what will you do today? How much regret will you have? My friend, maybe time is running out, look forward to it and cherish it.
