long winter no spring

Excellent literature is always sad, and perhaps the shock of the soul can only appear when the beauty is torn apart. Recently, due to homework, I watched "Requiem of a Dream" three times in a row, and the intense discomfort caused a huge impact.

But it cannot be denied that this is a good movie. I personally think it is better than the original book, because the full American dialect in the original book greatly affects the interest of reading, and the rapid switching of shots, music processing and the application of other techniques in the film greatly mobilize All aspects of the senses seem to create a space full of despair, and once you are deeply immersed, you will be unable to extricate yourself.

Several people have kindly reminded me not to always read these kinds of movies and books, because it will greatly increase the negative energy in my heart. However, I was immersed in the feeling of spiritual resonance, as if talking to the director and the author through time and space. We all know that in the big world, confidants are hard to find, and even if they are found, they may be forgotten in the rivers and lakes due to various factors. Only this kind of dialogue is timeless and can be established in every moment through movies and books. Of course, this is only a good thing, the inevitable negative is that you are likely to be trapped in the cage of this dialogue, and usually this dialogue is not comfortable and happy.

Requiem for a Dream is one such example. As ordinary people, we can't take drugs, and of course we don't recommend taking drugs. If you want to experience that feeling, watch this movie. Dilated pupils, dissolved heroin, and rapidly switching shots perfectly embody this desperate and beautiful process. It's beautiful, just because we can imagine that the world of illusion must be colorful, we can meet the people we lost and miss again, and we can share the most beautiful time with the people we love. Because these cannot be achieved in reality, they choose this way to connect with it. Just like Marion in Harry's phantom, wearing a red dress, standing on the blue seaside, looking back and smiling slightly like a smiling mother at the graduation ceremony, also wearing a red dress.

It would be great if time stopped at the best moments, without saying goodbye to loved ones, without seeing the cruel truth, without facing the inevitable shit moments in life. But these are always just beautiful fantasies, and reality is always crueler than imagined, and sometimes more exaggerated than movies. Like the lines in "Goodbye, Someday": "One must always be ready to say goodbye at any time. No matter how you are loved, you must never believe in happiness. No matter how you love someone, you must never love someone too much." Maybe extreme, but at least a reminder We, too much, serious people will always lose. Life burns too brightly, and it is bound to wither prematurely. Just like the beautiful and short summer in "Requiem for a Dream", and then the cold autumn and the long winter follow, everyone must obey the arrangement of fate and never turn over again.

Then spring never comes again.

Everyone was sinking into their own desires. The talented Daronovsky mobilized all the means that could be mobilized. The talented actors did everything to perform selflessly, so that every frame was filled with piercing power. Toss the stomach, stir the brain.

The most desperate movie experience! I was so desperate that my ears did not dare to smell, my eyes did not dare to see, my heart trembled!

Angelic Nurse: It's all right. Don't worry, you're in a hospital.

    Harry Goldfarb: Marion?

Angelic Nurse: Who's that? She'll be sent for, she'll come.

    Harry Goldfarb: No.

    Angelic Nurse: No?

    Harry Goldfarb: No... she won't.

    Angelic Nurse: [confidently] She'll come.

    Harry Goldfarb: [Crying] No, she...

  • Tyrone: [about the TV] Shit, this muthafucka's startin' to look a little seedy, man.

Harry: What's the matter, you particular all the sudden?

Tyrone: Hey, baby, I don't care if the motherfucker's growing hair just so long as we get our bread.
