4.0. Under the shell of space survival, it is still a sci-fi blockbuster that exports mainstream American values. Defoe will be relieved to see it, the film is clearly the space version of "Robinson Crusoe". The last half hour can be shortened and a bit procrastinated. There is still moving and resonance, and the whole world rescues a person's feelings. Matt Damon's Surviving Alone on Mars is one of the best in the film. With his high self-discipline and excellent survival ability, Matt Damon planned the daily food supply and exploration tasks every day. Every time the "Roaming" car drove out a little bit, it was a little bit closer to hope. The expansive and magnificent view of Mars in the film is shocking and beautiful, and adds a luster to the film (the film is really well scripted); people are always curious about the untouched land. The protagonist once said, "Everywhere I go, I'm the first person, which is a strange feeling." I knew in my heart that it was a mixed feeling of loneliness and exploration. In this barren land, every step you take is a big step for mankind.
There are two lines in the movie, Matt Damon's space survival and NASA's rescue operations for astronauts. My favorite is of course the former, true science at the service of life. Good knowledge of botany lays the foundation for Matt Damon's survival and for him to grow potatoes in space (he is a botanist).
What would I do if I was jettisoned on Mars? I believe that I will be like the protagonist, unscrupulous in order to survive. Survival is the greatest driving force of human beings.
There is no love line in the film, which is really to my liking. It won't be overwhelming, just watch the protagonist do all kinds of things to survive alone (I taste the feeling of loneliness).
The film has a blockbuster texture, and the lens is generally used. There are also many Chinese actors in the film. Is this a Sino-American co-production? (no.)
This kind of core of "the whole world is only to save one person" is suitable for any era. It would have been better if a "Go home safe" banner was erected when the protagonist finally returned to Earth.
